Desiree Leung has become a major figure within the real estate industry. As a senior marketing director, she’s building an empire and is consistently recognized by her peers as an inspiring force both in the office, and at home. One of her proudest accomplishments is her ability to work hard not only in her field, but as a mother of three.
Desiree Leung is a senior marketing director at ERA Realty Network in Singapore who is showing all of us that we truly can have it all. She’s worked hard to design systems, refine strategies, and deliver quality service both in office, and back at home with her three children. Her dedication to balancing work and family is something we all dream to accomplish, and she worked hard to get to where she is today without slowing down.
Her profile on PropertyGuru cites her completion of 106 past transactions in three years with a perfect 5.0 rating based on reviews. These transactions included resale, rental, and landed project sales. Her reviews hail Leung for her marketing/negotiation skills, industry expertise, reliability, and overall quality of work.
“As a dedicated realtor and mother of three, I blend personal insight with professional service to provide an exceptional real estate experience,” she writes on her profile.
This past summer Leung won the award for being in the Top 1% of ERA agents for her volume of transactions and consistency in success.
In a recent interview with media outlet EdgeProp, she discussed her joy for the industry and what she does, as well as the legacy she’s creating for her family.
“Real estate isn’t just a career for me but a business, and like any successful business, it runs on systems, not emotions or chance.”
Leung’s success was not created out of nowhere either. She spent the time and energy to learn about the intricacies of the market and it came with a lot of trial and error.
“I realized early on that I couldn’t afford to wing it. So, I built frameworks: from client acquisition systems to running a team of full-timers covering everything from marketing to administration. Over time, they became second nature and scalable,” she explained.
Leung also praised herself for her ability to balance family responsibilities with her three children and her demanding career. She has a hefty loyalty both in office and at home which drives her towards the success she’s created.
“I time-block everything, from client meetings to family dinners. It’s not glamorous but it’s discipline and what works,” she stated. One of her top skills is time management, which allows her to be there for both her children and clients, while never having either feel like they’re not being taken care of.
Unlike many figure heads in the industry, she denounces the ideals of constantly hustling and exhausting oneself in order to find success. Instead she emphasized how consistency both in office and at home comes from the creation of balanced systems.
“I don’t rely on luck or hope. I rely on statistics, planning, and execution. From prospecting to post-sale follow-ups, everything I do is mapped out.”
“When you’re a working mom with three children, every minute counts. I don’t chase everything and focus only on high-impact actions now. That’s how I manage to close multiple million-dollar deals and still show up at home.”
Leung repeatedly crosses the six-figure monthly income threshold through her “disciplined” system that she’s mastered and been consistent with.
“I’ve systemized how I serve my clients, handle objections, build referrals, and create content that converts. That’s why my results are consistent, not seasonal,” she explains.
Her belief that success in real estate and life is built brick-by-brick combined with her structure sets Leung apart in her industry. She also posts on social media daily, which brings a lot of engagement to her business. She published behind-the-scenes stories and is not afraid to talk about her daily struggles at work.
“Success is not about viral videos or quick wins. It’s about consistent, value-driven service and a process that delivers results again and again.”
Leung looks toward the future not only thinking about herself, but the next generation of agents in the industry. She consistently invests in her team through mentorship to help younger agents avoid the mistakes she made at the start of her career.
“I want new agents, especially women, to know that this industry doesn’t require you to sacrifice family, integrity, or your well-being. With the right systems, you can have both success and balance.”
