This Anti-theft Backpack Has Already Raised Over $700,000 on Kickstarter
A sleek, anti-theft backpack with room to comfortably carry all of your belongings is a travel necessity. So it should come as no surprise that this stylish bag featuring multiple security features quickly surpassed its crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter.
The Korin ClickPack X has just about everything you could ask for in a secure travel backpack. Although it boasts a minimalist look, the waterproof knapsack takes a maximalist approach to anti-theft security measures.
More than 80 percent of the bag’s surface is made with cut-resistant glass fibers (just in case), and the top flap opens with a magnetic clasp only to reveal a hidden TSA-approved lock. There’s also a retractable steel wire coil attached to the top of the backpack that allows you to secure the bag to any sturdy object, whether you’re sitting in a chair at the airport or at a table on a bistro patio.
The straps include a genius pocket that doubles as an RFID blocker for storing IDs and credit cards in an accessible yet secure place. On the other strap, you’ll find a USB charging port perfect for powering up handheld devices on the go or even larger items like laptops when you’re taking a break somewhere safe. The port connects to any external battery pack by snaking through the strap to a secure place inside the main compartment of the backpack.
